Terms of Service

Last updated: March 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Replisk (replisk.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.

2. Service Description

Replisk is a product replicability analysis tool. It uses automated crawling via a headless Chromium browser (Playwright) and AI analysis via the Anthropic Claude API to evaluate publicly accessible web products. The service generates a replicability score (0-100) based on three dimensions: Surface complexity, Functional depth, and Moat defensibility.

Analysis results are based on publicly observable signals only — including DOM structure, network requests, detected technologies, and authentication patterns. Results do not represent the complete technical implementation, business logic, or proprietary systems of any analyzed product.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Analysis Accuracy Disclaimer

This is important. Please read carefully.

Replisk scores are generated by automated systems and artificial intelligence. Scores reflect publicly observable signals and may not accurately represent a product's actual technical complexity, defensibility, or business value. Specifically:

Replisk scores should not be used as the sole basis for investment, acquisition, hiring, or other business decisions. Always conduct your own due diligence.

5. Third-Party Sites

Replisk analyzes publicly accessible websites in the same manner a regular web browser would. Replisk does not:

Analysis of a website does not imply any commercial, legal, or endorsement relationship between Replisk and the analyzed company.

6. Automated Analysis Methodology

Replisk uses automated browser technology (headless Chromium) to analyze publicly accessible web products. This methodology is similar to that used by established tools such as SimilarWeb, BuiltWith, and Wappalyzer.

Replisk's crawler:

Analysis results represent Replisk's automated assessment only and do not imply any relationship with, endorsement by, or affiliation with the analyzed product or company.

If you are the owner of a website and wish to opt out of analysis, contact contact@replisk.com with your domain name.

7. Intellectual Property

Replisk's scoring methodology, 3-layer analysis pipeline, known products database (331+ pre-calibrated entries), inference engine, and all associated algorithms are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of these systems.

Analysis results generated for your own URL belong to you and may be shared freely. Analysis results of third-party products should include attribution to Replisk (e.g., “Analyzed by Replisk”).

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), which acts as the merchant of record and handles all tax, VAT, and payment compliance globally. Replisk never directly processes or stores credit card information.

Refund Policy

Argentine consumers (Ley 24.240 Art. 34): You have a 10-day withdrawal right (“derecho de revocación”) from the date of purchase for distance contracts. To exercise this right, contact contact@replisk.com. Refunds will be proportional — services already consumed (analyses run, AI credits used) may be deducted.

EU consumers: By initiating an analysis (clicking “Analyze” with AI deep analysis), you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right once the service has been fully performed (Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16m).

All other users: No refunds for partial billing periods. One-time deep analysis purchases are non-refundable once the analysis has been delivered. If an analysis fails due to a technical error on our end, contact us for a credit or refund.

9. API Keys (Pro Tier)

Pro subscribers may generate personal API keys for programmatic access. API keys are shown once at creation and stored as SHA-256 hashes — Replisk cannot recover lost keys. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure and confidential.

Replisk reserves the right to revoke API keys that violate these terms, are used to build competing products, or generate excessive load on the service. API keys are limited to 100 calls per month per key.

10. Data and Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and processing. In summary: we store your email, subscription tier, analysis history, and hashed API keys. We do not sell user data.

11. Limitation of Liability

Replisk is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Replisk's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to Replisk in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

Replisk is not liable for any decisions made based on analysis results, any damages arising from inaccurate scores, or any harm to third parties caused by how you use or share analysis results.

12. Right of Withdrawal (Argentine Consumers)

Under Argentine Law 24.240 Art. 34, consumers in Argentina have a 10-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase for any distance contract, without need to state a reason.

To exercise this right, send an email to contact@replisk.com with your account email and the subject “Derecho de revocación”. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Services already consumed (analyses run, AI credits used) may be proportionally deducted.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Replisk, its operator, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use or sharing of analysis results, your violation of these Terms, or any claims by third-party product owners related to analyses you initiated or shared.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Replisk shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Replisk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.
